Recap 4.14-19

There is not too much to report about this week, except how AMAZING the Chalk it Down & Market in the Alley event was!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support and take part in this wonderful Saturday event coordinated by the Las Vegas Arts District & Market in the Alley. Several old friends and customers stopped by as well as a bunch of new faces, I hope to see them again. Please mark your calendars for May 17, 11 am-4 pm, because that is the next Market in the Alley event I will be participating in. Details on that will be out in a few weeks.
Alena Dawn killed it with her live painting and condensed Mix It Up! art station— heads up, we have another Mix It Up! Art night this Friday.

Shout out to a few wonderful people I was surprised to see at my booth:
Amanda from Sew Bestie — She’s holding a sewing expo here in Las Vegas at the end of June. Get all that info here: https://www.sewcations.com/
Spencer, whom I met in New Jersey at my friend Adam’s book launch party. We were at the same lunch table (yes, it was in fact the cool kids’ table) He is also from Vegas so we are now best friends. Check out Adam’s book and website here: https://wrongspeak.net/shop/
MK Artisan— Wait! What?! This lady has been a long-time customer of my previous business, designing PDF sewing patterns. She’s followed me for many years, and we finally met in real life this weekend. What a treat!
